@310ULTIMATE Actually it is called Fire Superiority. They figured out the general direction of incoming fire and saturated the hillside to keep the enemy combatants suppressed. This gives cover for them to spread out, get into proper firing positions and pinpoint the enemy location to provide more effective fire. It is standard US infantry procedure. You can't sit around with binoculars looking for them, you have to react immediately or die.
