-5 lbs manok (chicken)
-3/4 cup toyo (shoyu)
-3 cloves bawang, minced
-1/4 cup mirin
-1/2 cup asukal (sugar)
-1/4 cup tubig
-1 small piece of luya, sliced (ginger)
-1/2 sibuyas, thinly sliced (onion)
-1/2 bottle heineken (serbesas)
-green onion for garnish *optional
put all ingredients except for chicken in pot and wait till it boils... taste and add sugar or shoyu to your taste, then lower heat to a simmer and add chicken... cook for 1/2 an hour or until most of the liquid is evaporated... enjoy!
