9714 is pretty good for a stock machine, my overclocked windows machine scored 15528 at 5.3ghz (intel 2600k) with HT on.
-
just got 11261 on my 21.5 inch iMac
-
Piece of shit don't buy one.
-
Here is my question for you:
How much did you pay to get this 9600 score?
-
I love OSX, but the first thing I did when I used it is install Windows. Windows 7 is just too good to say goodbye to.
-
I wouldn't say goodbye Windows just because you have a Macintosh. I would just say goodbye PCs.

I'm getting one...in 6 months YES a whole 6 months ^,^

@501amar Hi there, so i see you got a 9714 score using 64 bit in your GeekBench test, well thats all right i gess,i to have a iMac i7 with 8gb ram i used 32 bit geekbench test & got a score of 9242.so ime not that far behind you,ime wounderning if i where to by the 64 bit geekbench test i might be lucky & get a score of over 100 humm.

Does your iMac get so hot you cant even hardly touch it at the top?
Yes it does. The whole back panel acts as a giant heat sink and moves the heat. Mine does get extremely hot at times. It's nothing to worry about.
