Harley Davidson straight pipes, 883 vs 1200

Just a clip of the sound difference. There's absolutely NO comparison on the road, the 1200 rips the 883 apart!

@adinfinitum78 Thanks for watching. Looking back on it now, I wish I did a better job on the video- like more of a detailed comparison as they both sat side-by-side. But I just picked up the 1200 at the time, and was getting ready to sell the 883, so I thought I'd shoot a quick video before it sold. No comparison between the two, although they share the same motor except for the cylinder bore, the 1200 in person sounds MUCH better- and the performance doesn't even come close!!

Look at 0:22.. the ass end of the 1200 dips while revved;) ..Not in the 883

Rides great, an identical ride to the 1200. The 883 rips up through the gears real nice. Has a smooth deep tone with the baffles in also, but I prefer it without (as heard/seen in the video). This one will be up for sale as of this coming weekend (4/24/11)

we run drags on our 883s wit the screamin eagle air cleaner, fully jetted and the e 3 plugs, and they rip ass, havent had a big twin come close to us, but id like to make a pro street 1200 though

@242176 ? why? i don´t think so... all real harleys(air cooled/carb) sounds great. and even the 883 has maybe the best sound among these...

Both sound great, i'm still trying to get my hands on a 1200 though.
