In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

  • if the continental and the LS had a baby... this would be it.

  • @bobrec3GTI Many Chinese bulb companies name their bulbs xenons because they have a blue coating on them which mimics the colour of hids. Traditional halogen/knockoff xenons(without a ballast) do indeed use a gas/wire combo which heats up to produce light. You are correct hid do use a salt combination to produce light, Hid bulbs are closer in design to a spark plug then a halogen bulb which is why they require a ballast to increase the voltage. Xenons that are genuine hids are low beam only.

  • @H20MarkVIII arent xenon lights gas-based bulbs? Xenon uses gas which happens to be called xenon. HID's use a mix of metallic salts in their gaseous states to produce light..

  • ,mark 8 with sequential taillights <3

sequential taillights are a must!!!! :)

  • @bobrec3GTI xenon are hids, just a single beam(low beam hid only). Bixenons are the ones that you see now adays with a projector and both the high and low beam in one. Back in the day, before the designers started using projectors with an electronic solenoid cutoff shield, they used the kind in the movie above. You can buy the bixenons on retrofitsource(just google it) and put them in any car though.

  • Im going to be pissed if the scrap yard is selling the car for 2 grand. The insurance company gave me 2500 and the scrap yard gave me 1000. Maybe I will buy it back for 1000 and fix it then. Thx for info

  • @H20MarkVIII yea i saw one for 2000 bucks on craigslist and it needed the right quarter panel, headlight and bumper lol but no i live in a place where there are many roads and most with no houses or anything so i can go fast and have fun without any danger :)

  • im sorry but those do not look like xenon headlights. more like HID's

  • @kubalibre305 Just dont crash it like I did to mine a couple weeks ago... A headlight, a fender and some paint is considered a write off with these cars. I want to get another mark 8 but i think im going to get a 1990 sl500 convertible instead.

  • @H20MarkVIII sweeett this is gunna be my next car trust me lol
