Hello everybody; Scorch Green Dragon again.
(AKA Rodney)

I trust everybody is doing well in their endeavor to explore dual magnetic currents and make your own effort to replicate SSG devices as well as replicate what I demonstrate in these videos about the Hamel spinner.

Today I am conducting part 2 of my peer review of the John Bedini version of the Hamel spinner.

I have been informed that the main thing John was trying to demonstrate with this device is the presence of a magnetic vortex. And this will be demonstrated by showing spin in one direction. Then flip the ring magnet over to show how the vortex causes spin in the opposite direction.

I have also been informed that my ring, with its missing magnet has a hole in the magnetic gate and that I need to replace that missing magnet to complete the gate.

I actually went one step farther and recreated an EXACT copy of Johns ring with the correct size and number of magnets.

The problem I see with this statement about direction of rotation is the fact that the spin is actually caused by the peculiar behavior of a supported sphere on a flat surface which will spin instead of roll.

In my previous video; I already demonstrated how the sphere can spin without magnetism at all.

And, of course, since it is actually the sphere and surface that causes the spin, it also dictates the DIRECTION of spin simply depending on which direction you tease the device.

Or, in the case of fixed rig, it will still want to spin in whichever direction the offset is when you first lower the rig and ring magnet over the disk.

For example: If the disk is to right when the ring is lowered, it may spin clockwise or, if to the left, it may spin counterclockwise.

And because this behavior is so peculiar, it is very unpredictable. It may spin in one direction the first time then, from the same starting point, spin in the opposite direction the second time.

There is a theory that describes this type of behavior called: "chaos theory"

There are many small factors such as both the ring and disk magnets have irregularities in their magnetic fields causing low and high spots of force. There is also the "I want to believe" factor of the scientist trying to conduct his experiments without realizing his own influence on his results.

So far this device has utterly failed to demonstrate any type of magnetic vortex or free energy. This due to the peculiar behavior of a supported sphere on a flat surface and other outside forces that completely over-ride or interfere with any possibility of this device proving to be a good demonstration tool.

Once again I feel I must state that I have plenty of respect for men such as John Bedini and Tom Bearden.

BUT, I happen to KNOW something about this particular Device. (Hamel spinner) and it would seem that these great men may do themselves a disservice by contnuing to use this toy as an alleged demonstration of a magnetic vortex. Which INDEED may be present in the ring BUT the SPHERE does it's OWN THING!

So PLEASE provide a BETTER tool to demonstrate what you are trying to teach!

As you can see by my video productions I am making an HONEST attempt to replicate as well as demonstrate what I KNOW about this device.

This is not any attempt to be "rude" to any group trying to learn about such magnetic devices.

Thank you.

  • The argument here is the magnetic vortex that magnetism creates (with proper magnet arrangements and angled properly towards the spinning one) is what is replacing your hand that is pushing that glass ball. What I think you need to try is to get the spinning magnet to stay in one place and then align the top magnet to get the spin. Experiment on the proper angled necessary to get the spin

    Vortex video is at /watch?v=wSGnZPZpR_I

Nothing touching the spinning ball magnet that is in one place
