This is a video I made of a CSX freight train going in reverse at high speeds thru a diamond cross over in Plant City Florida.

  • @Millenniumforce your welcome

  • @BNSFfan9959 Thank you for the feedback of your comment

  • @Millenniumforce well the impact could be lessened and made less severe by the conductor on back. if he sees a car coming at the crossing, and thinks it isn't gonna stop, theres emergency air releases on both sides of the caboose. all he has to do is trip one of those, and itputs the train into emergency so if they do hit the car, they'll be going slower and will actually stop instead of being pushed off the track by the engine. and like i said, if something does happen, they'll change the rules

  • @BNSFfan9959 Very True!! Like It Takes An Accident At An Intersection To Get A Stop Sign Or Traffic Light Put Up!! But Does It Have To Take A Life For This To Happen?? All They Have To Do Is Add A Real Train Horn To The Caboose.

  • @Millenniumforce well i'm sure if something happens, or comes close to happening, they change it so they slow down on back ups like that

  • @BNSFfan9959 But Alot of people are used to a loud horn and the rumbling of the engines. One day it may be to late to the person who doesn't know???

  • @Millenniumforce As long as it's loud enough to be heard, it doesn't matter what it sounds like, and that horn was fairly loud

  • @BNSFfan9959 But the horn sounds like a flute???

  • It's not that crazy. It's just like a cab car on the passenger trains, but instead it's a caboose on a short cut of freight cars. And the caboose has a horn, so it's not like the crew has no way to warn the people that they are coming

  • @CJSHORTTV In some short lines they do. We have 2 cabooses here.
