His was a 1960, mine is a 1959. His was a two pickup model, mine has only one. His was a gift from a fan, I paid through the nose for mine. Joe & Ella play their version in C, I'm doing mine in Eb.

@captaindomingo flatwounds, but was it 10 or 11? I forgot...These days it's 11. I put new ones on recently. I change strings every 3 years or so. Thx for the comment & cheers
