I've never gotten to ride one, but have been a thumper addict since my first TT/XT 500 back in '84 when I got a used '79 TT for a song and rode the HELL out that beast. Still have a running XT500 (hotrodded to Hell and back) and another torn apart for parts when I need 'em. Been thinking of building a street tracker or cafe bike from my "extra".

drakey what lord has to do with the bike??are you so religious??

In 85 I had to make the choice between the SRX and a EX250-E1(I believe GPz in the UK and Ninja here in the USA). I chose the Kwacker. Was a novice and didn't think stepping up from an MB5 to the SRX was a good Idea. Have regretted the decision ever since. Not that the Kwacker was a bad bike, but I outgrew it in a hurry and you had to ring its bloody neck to make any power. Someday a SRX will grace the garage if I can ever find a decent example. Great vid, thanx.

I should never have sold my SRX6, would gladly trade my 82-R65LS for another SRX.

I like the pictures and the music, but what I like even more is the title: 'the bike god made on a holiday in Japan' - great ! That's what I somehow feel with a kind of ironic smile on my face when I get my SRX out of the garage.
The devil inside !
It's a sin to own only one SRX !!!
But with two one in your garage (as I do), you'll expect to be saved !
Let's buy a third one just to be sure ! ;)
