This is one of the nicest things about owning a military truck like the M35A2C. With this "Emergency Air Supply" you can pump up your tires and do almost anything else that your home air compressor can do once you obtain the "Glad Hand" accessory hose from a local trucking supply store (or any large truck stop for that matter). You are limited by the small air reservoir tanks which supply the air to this outlet so consequently your air volume is short lived when using air tools such as an impact wrench or air ratchet. You can overcome this by adding an in-line portable air tank such as the ones sold by Sears or at auto parts stores. Normally the air pressure reaches 90 - 100 pounds depending on the setting you make at the air regulator which is an integral part of the truck's air system.

  • Thanks Bud! I didnt know it could do that, I thought that was for air brakes on a trailer, unreal.

  • These trucks have many features that add to their versatility. Despite their size and weight they are actually practical for daily driving. The 12 foot bed accomodates practically anything and you can run these trucks on gas, fuel oil, transmission fluid, WVO, biodiesel, used motor oil, and many others. You can even jump start aircraft with the use of military jumper cables that plug into a NATO 24 volt socket on the passenger side of the truck. Owning one is lots of fun as well!

  • I didn't like driving the deuce and a half. when we wanted to use air powered assessories we would use the air coupling under the dash on the drivers side

  • looks more like a 3/8 inch gun ??

have 2 of them, along with 1/2 inch gun

    maybe ??

  • yeah we fill our tires with them all the time, the side OVM box has some air tools, chucks for the tires, all of that for this purpose. very handy, even though filling a tire from 0psi to full takes like 30 mins each haha
