"good refs are like good defensemen... you don't notice them.", that is so true, at the end of a game when you ask you're friend who the ref was and they answer " I don't know" that means the ref did a good job. Wally Harris is the best referee that I've seen in my life, he officiated in the 70's and early 80's and made sure the teams decided the winner and not himself.

actually no gretzkys shot was blocked, the puck came back towards him but dougie came in and took it, wayne tried to take it but got his stick up, can't believe i just explained that, watch the play more closely

This is like someone shadowboxing, me running into said person, and him being charged with assault. This is a good non-call. Gretzky is shooting the puck. The spot he is on is his ice, and he's not required to check his shot. Gilmour, god love him, skated into Gretzky's follow-through, and dammit, glided into Gretzky's stick.
