New York City, Police Chase

As soon as we got into the cab on our way from The Financial District to LGA to catch our flight, the cabbie drove looking backwards the whole time, staring at my friend Jess. Im quite sure he was in love... or at least a little bit of lust. He came to a screech at one intersection that had a cop directing traffic. After stopping he told us that if he got caught for blowing one more light, he would lose his license for 30 days. Doing so this close to christmas (it was end of Nov.), he would lose out on a lot of money due to it being a busy time in NYC. The next intersection we came to had 4 cops, one on each corner with 2 separate cop cars. At the red light he had his arm around the seat and was facing directly 180 degrees to the road staring at the blond wonder sitting in the back. Our little cambodian driver noticed out of the corner of his eye a green light. Unfortunately it was too late for him to realize that it was an advance green and we were heading straight. Because he was completely jamming up the traffic in the middle of the intersection, the cops were unable to get to us. Believe me they tried. You can hear the cherry's being lit up in the vid but they were unfortunately/fortunately not able to get to us. Our cabbie, after prompting from us, decided to hightail it outta there and we made a clean escape. Man, I love new york.
