i did all this but when i go to add a computer to the domain it still says it cant find the domain controller

@1111winter4w Not sure if you are being funny LOL But it's a Static IP address. That's when the network adapter has it's IP address set MANUALLY by the user. i.e. It doesn't change . If the IP address is given by a DHCP server, it's not static (it's dynamic)...i.e. it may not be the same address you get when you are given an address by DHCP....I'm not an expert by this is my best/simplest explanation
