Our neighbors spent three days cooking in our backyard for the wedding. First day, chinchin (small, fried pastry). Second day, 135 pounds of beef, boiled with onions and spices, dried, then roasted. Third day, put it all together, parcel it out into clamshell containers, and transport it.
The yodeling-like noise is called ululation and is a cry of jubilation.

Who wants yesterday's food, for today;s wedding. Three days cooking for the wedding, that's ridiculous.....!
