So the account "hillsongchurch" isn't actually run by Hillsong Church.. cool :P
-
@wouldbeawesome i second that. You cant possibly compare Hillsong to Nazism...When did Hillsong confess their hate for the Jews, or anyone for that matter?

Family first are cunts

@walkabout09 that's not actually true mate - that is just Sex party propaganda, trying to bring down a great party (Family First)

FYI...Raising hands is a form of worship to our God the Father, not to a person like the Nazi's did. Almost all Christians do this. While I know you are trying to compare the Hillsong Church and the Nazi's, you are also intern putting down all Christians who worship this way.

Hi Kevin,
All christians do not raise their hands in this way..
Its only Charismatics that push this and If you look there is no image or symbol of God what so ever in these churches..Its the "minister" they are raising their hands to..The church leader dont just happen to be in the way of the sign of worship..they are the symbol of worship they encourage the followers to bow down to..

mate i dislike the religious right but this video is just absurd. comparing family first to the nazis is just plain immature and ignorant. by the way - who said the religious cannot get involved in politics? do you know what democracy is? it means the person who has the majority of support gets elected. banning someone from going into politics because of their religion is so incredibly undemocratic its you who should be compared to the nazis, not fielding.

1. hi libe...
As you know Fielding is not elected by votes..
The FFP was initially made up exclusively of Assembly of God ministers and elders.. They dont get any more right wing than that..And their intolerances and bias are just below the surface..
The references to the Nazis are based on them both parties:
Both having leaders that claim divine authority.
Both have cited violence as a method of dealing with minorities they dont like.
Both use the raised hand to the leader.

2.I dont think they really are Nazi right now..but given enough power..who knows how their expression of a better society would be displayed in law..
Unlike the intolerance they express, I end this video by saying vote them out...not kill them as the FFP members would have done to homosexuals.
Your interpretation of democracy must be different to mine..
