Baby elephant charge

This is part two after the baby elephant trumpets (in the last video). He mock charges us a few times and then his mother asks us to leave (in her mother elephant way) and we quickly comply:)

Actually it was more cute than anything, until mommy got excited. Then we just left. It was very cute when the baby was mock charging us. We weren't so interested in what would happen if mommy tried the same, so we didn't stick around. :)

Elephants are no joke when they charge. Crush a car like a tin can and trample a human like us to a mouse.

You are 100% correct. That is why we left as soon as the little guy's mother showed some signs of anxiety. The next day we came around a corner and surprised a bull elephant and he chased us for quite a while. Good thing land rovers are faster than elephants!

Good eye. Most people wouldn't have noticed the mother stealthily moving around the tree to charge you from the left flank. Did you see how she started to manuever the moment she noticed her calf was intimidated? Elephants are fearfully awesome creatures, my favorite of God's wonderful beasts. I would love the chance to see one in the wild some day.
