I am one of the most patriotic people you will ever meet, but while I don’t think the nations flag’s should be half staff for the death of a singly serviceman or woman, I think it is by no means disrespectful for that serviceman/woman’s family to have the flag at half staff, by nature half staff means mourning, there is no greater mourning than a parent mourning the loss of a child in any circumstance, military or not!!

There is NO law behind the display of the flag. The Flag Code is completely non-binding except as a GUIDELINE for government buildings/agencies. PERIOD. And this moron has got a seriously fucked up idea of what the colors stand for.
