The second half of the Christmas Medley. The first half sort of set the stage, the everlasting and essential nature of God plus the struggle between the light and the dark. Part II begins the moment Jesus is born with Away in a Manger, and progresses towards a whirl of glory and joy.

  • Beautiful. Thank you for spending the time learning this great instrument and sharing it with the world.

  • Thank you. I have written a book which teaches these Christmas songs on kalimba, so I really AM sharing it with the world. -Mark

  • amazing stuff man, i have a 7 tine coconut shell kalimba and its very limited in its music that it can play, i was hoping to get a 15 tine instrument, but the cost of a beautifully crafted model hinders me, i guess ill have to save up, i checked out ur website, amazing instruments there, but very expensive, oh well great stuff keep jamming.

  • I own a $1000 Martin Guitar, a $1000 Gibson Mandolin, and a $100 Hugh Tracey kalimba. They are all equally wonderful. The price you pay for the good instruments is generally worth it. -Mark

  • Hi Kalimba Artiste Extraodinaire,

I'm listening to your magnificent talent RIGHT NOW as I write this, and I HAVE TO TELL you that your playing and Kalimba are so utterly SIMPLE, CHARMING, NON-COMMERCIAL AND NON-ELECTRIC, innocent and beautiful, that it brought me to tears. I get crazy nostalgic & sentimental at the holidays, and your gift has made it easier on me, especially with my Mom dying last year. KEEP UP THE MAGNIFICENT WORK, God Bless and THANK YOU for making me so happy

  • Smile! I am blessed by your words. -Mark

  • I am with BigHrdB totally on this! Acoustic and raw, simple yet so refined -- allowing the wood and other materials to sound naturally through your creative touch. Great delighting in your marvelous videos!

  • Performed verry accurate and enjoyed the ad lib. percydee(Mwana)

  • Thank you!

This is a Treble, usually in G and starting on the 3rd, B. I have retuned it to start on Bflat and have repainted to tines to match the ALTO's tines (at least in terms of relative intervals from the root, not in terms of absolute pitch) - the ALTO is my native kalimba.
