This is outrageous; I cannot believe this is happening. Please someone wake me, is this a nightmare? I wish I had the money to buy this company so I could fire everyone in it. Who are these people and what are they smoking? Why do they have to screw with every freaking thing? You don’t change the Mona Lisa, You don’t change the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty.

The problem is that quite frankly there has been too much change, with everything after Infinite Crisis, it seems like DC doesn't know what to do with the character with them allowing writers and editoral to throw these ideas upon the character, adding even more stress and unnessary complication to the character. She has now become a mess and what JMS is doing as good of a writer he as shown in the Brave and the Bold, Thor, and Spider-Man, honestly isn't helping.

Yes because the first issue is always the end all be all issue. Great and sometimes change is a good thing take Green Lantern for example.

@ZipBlockBloody but here it's just as I mentioned before there's been too much change since Infinite Crisis and it has bogged down the character completly. JMS should have handled what was on his plate from the previous runs before doing another status quoe changing story. Since Infinite Crisis, we've already had 3 status quoe changing stories. To me I'm beginning to feel that as of right now DC honestly doesn't know what do with the character.

They never did know what to do with the character at least now we have a complete new start. But like I said I highly doubt this will last I give it a year at most.

Funny because the readership is dwindling on Wonder Woman AND Superman because the story is lacking badly.

You really should do a followup on this. While I agree that JMS got a lot of flack about his different take on WW in the beginning, did he turn that criticism into praise over time? Simply, NO: His story arc lacked originality and steam (and yes, I've followed it) and he BAILED OUT before the end! I don't think his turn was that influenced by fans, he had his intent going in, and either didn't think it through or wasn't committed. Change is good when it works, but it didn't in this instance.

Superman is already lame, and the new Wonder Woman idea is just about as bad as when Mike Sekowsky took her powers away and turned her into Emma Peel. Power Girl, She-Hulk and Witchblade are allot more sexual then WW woman and thats why they sell. WW's look isn't a costume, it's a uniform, it's also her heritage. It's a bad idea, so I droped the book, and I will boycot until she is really Wonder Woman again. It is a bad idea, PERIOD!!!

When things change, if they are good, they stick. That's how the world works. The good stuff sticks, and the bad stuff fades away, especially in comics.

Look at Batman! Look at how he has evolved through the years. The finale being The Dark Knight.

I don't read wonder woman, but JMS is a good writer period. And I agree with you - if the babies cry enough they get what they want, but it becomes more what a few people want really. It starts with a few king fanboys, and then a bunch of people that say "yeah, what that guy said", bunch of people that can't think for themselves. JMS run on ASM was one of my favorites. Your vids are great, just started watching em - keep doing comic book discussions.

I don't have a problem with change I just want to know if this is elseworld. Because if this is cannon this will screw up all her relationships.
