20 years: drink, drugs, lost children/marriage, mental institutes & Christ

Dave Brooker spent many years caught up in drink and drugs, and through that lost many wondeful things, including his marriage and 3 children leading to mental hospitals as he gave up hope of life. He had thought he was a Christian, and had resentment to God for messing up much of his life. Then God began to intervene in his life for good in ways he'd have never thought possible if you'd told him before they'd happened.

Dear Brother I pray that the Lord will use your powerful and moving testimony mightily to bring the healing, deliverance, recovery and wholeness that He has bought to you. Thank you for sharing. I am moved to tears at the power of our Lord to bring light into such darkness, hope into hopelessness and love to the unloved. May you glorify our God and grow into the likeness of our Lord Jesus day by day. I pray that through your suffering He will bring others to Christ to recieve His healing & love
