A parody of the 1951 "Duck and Cover" film. I made it for Spanish class. I apoligize for the misinformation regarding -IR verbs.. I just never had time to go back and change it!
O to U changes ..... in verbs preferir, divertirse and dormir.....???? Hello?? dormir is the only one that has an O to change to a U!!!! And there are ER verbs that have the change in the 3rd person singular and plural in the preterite. Otherwise, an enjoyable video.
@puppyfive, poder and poner are just irregular in the preterite. It doesn't really have to do with their stem-change. Notice that the endings are also wrong for -er verbs.
Great video! you did an awesome job. I have a question though. you mentioned that only -IR verbs are stem changing verbs, but are not poder and poner examples of stem changing verbs? (pude, puse). Just an FYI. :-)
Great Job nonetheless. BTW, I grew up in Tucson for 12 years...
i wish thats how my spanish class was....lol

You are right. The thing is that "poder" and "poner" are irregular preterits.

Is "pude" and "puse" not in the preterite? I'm guessing something's just not clicking with me.

In the preterit ONLY -ir verbs have stem changing
