I close my eyes and listen to this song, I go on a journey that takes me into the crevices of my future. Freedom has been achieved.. College is finished and I am now on my own after a 6 year journey. The world is my oyster after 24 years of slavery..That will be my picutre...

@gaelicviking Excellent tune! Isn't great to have songs that can, if I may borrow a line from Bob Dylan, give us 'shelter from the storm'? Seriously, can you imagine a world without music???

"Could you go on and take my picture?" <-- right lyrics

Sorry to nitpick because you were kind enough to put this up but the lyrics are "could you take my picture"....not "cuz you wanna take my picture"

@planetcheck When it came out I thought he was saying WACO. like, Waco Texas. ha.

Me too. When this song first came out I was in Grad School, and (though I didn't recognize it at the time), I was going through pretty bad depression. Whenever this song came on the radio it would gift me temporary relief and lighten my mood and heart a lot, so I'll always be grateful to this song just for that/

I totally forgot about this song until earlier today when it came on the radio.
Its crazy how they flipped the meaning of this song, and created a track that sounds melodic and meaningful...Funny because the song is just about him getting blacked out drunk on a plane, getting naked, and having those pictures sent to his dad (which is the inspiration for "hey dad what do think about ur son now")...when I saw this on mtv as a kid, I thought this song had something to do with some sort of emotional trauma, or containing deep significance. Then again, art is to be interpreted.
