@Rjaksa There were 5 divas out of 8 girls, fighting for 6 spots in the top 12. Divas probably shared a fanbase so not all of them could have made top 12.

remember this so clearly. And for the life of me I couldn't understand why she didn't make it to the top 12. The only thing I can think of is the song that she sang the following week: EnVogue's "Don't Let Go". Imo, that song is not meant to be sang as a solo, and I don't think she truly showcased her voice singing that. That might have been her downfall.

I really think she could have been another Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson... she was just incredible but she messed up the third performance... America really dropped the ball on that one

She got voted off cuz she was too similar to the other 4 divas (Melinda, Jordin, Lakisha and Stephanie) the first 2 weeks she was 4th best with Melinda, lakisha and stephanie doing better but Jordin was doing worse) it was the final week when all the divas outperformed her along with Gina (though she still did better than Haley and Antonella) the fact that 4 other ppl were similar and she did the worse job out of the 5 that week meant bye bye for her
