Hawaiian surfing is fun on Oahu but don't rent a board at Waikiki! Logs and garbage for high prices run by gorillas! Canoes, Queens, Little Queens are all fun for beginners-ignore aggro locals. Rent a board in town at T&C, Local Motion, Surf Garage for a week. You'll have the time of your life and never forget it!
