Yes. The tobacco used in cigars, many times will have tiny beatle eggs attached to it. If the humidity in your humidor gets to about 78% relative humidity, those eggs are at the right humidity to hatch. So you have to be careful not to let you humidor get to that level, or all your cigars are going to have little holes in them from the beatles eating them. Hoped that helped.

yes he is. it is an actual bug that eats tobacco and cuases a lot of problems for cigar smokers
