Agatha Christies villains always conveniently break down and confess at the end even though the detectives have not produced any proof that would satisfy a jury.

This is the awful storyline as the screenwriters wrote it. The actual storyline written by AC is great!

Audrey was married to Neville but she sensed that he was a wicked man so when she could she ran away with Adrian. Unfortunately, Adrian died shortly after that. Neville got together with Kay to make it seem as he was the one who had left Audrey and not otherwise. In the end, Audrey meets a man who failed at committing suicide who helps her out of Neville's evil schemes.
