This model very nice and thank you for telling me the cost. QMX wants almost 5K for their model and this one looks better and great effects and stand. I payed over a thousand for my Master replica 1701 and was worth it so at 2K this one with more details is a good deal.
I am saving up and will get mine from Tenacontrol.

That thing looks great, with the amount of time I have in mine and its not half done yet I would hate to ask someone what it would cost to have one built for me, this is a really nice example of what I am shooting for. thanks for sharing it.

I always thought it was illogical to raise/drop shields in that manner, but nevertheless it's an awesome and beautiful model and base.

Fantastic.

Very nice. The lighting has the warp mode and standby mode on at the same time, which is not correct. Could be miswired by accident or maybe someone did this on purpose not realizing it is not true to the movie Enterprise.

And I bet if one were to buy this.... it would cost less than the Qmx Refit model.

tenacontrols is in Boston Ma and if anyone wants one of these built for them contact us at propguy@hotmail.com
I am not sure what Tenacontrols is charging for this build these days. We have had ours for almost a year. I do know that what we paid for ours was worth every penny.
They use top notch electronics made to last. The wiring job underneath the base is a work of art. And the fact they tie all the effects together on a remote is something that sets it apart. Also, ours took quite a beating in shipping no fault
of the builders. Tenacontrols helped us in every way to make it right again.
Good guys.
