Ah these were designed in the days when Scanners were equal to movers or a more popular option so there were many High Quality scanners being developed but now it is all Moving heads with Scanners being aimed at the Budjet market and the semi pro and are no longer developed with that they may rival movign heads.

I own a pair of these units, there totally awesome better than the newer SCX700 range of scanners in my book.
I would rather have a set of things anyday!!!

The Roboscans were definitely workhorses.
Reminds me of the first MH I ever mounted Mac500.

those roboscan scanners were built to last. futureproofed and still some new scanners fail to match the superior quality of these scanners. Brilliant

ok as i remember when i used to have these before upgrading, they were a great light, thanks for posting this, these bring back good times of my first rave shows i did using these, i used to and still do now dj and light jock at the same time ;o
