neon blue day geckso from Tanzania are beautiful and fun to watch. Here a pair of males are showing territorial behavior and the "winner" takes the female for a date, before coming back to joust again with his male rival.

  • They're wonderful animals, full of personality, but yeah, you should not house two males together. That's bound to end in tragedy, in the long run. As for the mess, I keep these geckos, and the cage isn't actually that bad--they're messy, and leave droppings stuck everywhere, frequently. That cage could have been cleaned yesterday, lol.

  • Oops! I mean I wouldn't keep them together in this case. At least there should be more coverage (bush material) in the structure of the terra. Some cleaning couldn't harm as well.
