  • I heard this song for the first time it was broadcast! Tucson, Arizona, Radio Boadcast from across the Mexican border; Nogalez, to be exact. My Close friend was a DJ at this station, and he was known as Captain Zoomar. I was with him most of the time. He was also responsible for introducing IRON BUTTERFLY, IN AGADDA DA VIVA, and the group Spirit! Got A Line On You. Check it out!!!!!!!

  • @Meuadiv good memory man and regards to you and to "captain Zoomar".

of course, iron butterfly (all) and got a line on you. randy california RIP but he is in our heart. thanks.

  • ‎1968- Sis and I used to tool around in Mom Sylvia's 68 350/327 Camaro with the windows cranked open, the sound cranked up and the summer breeze blowing thru the car and our souls. The theme is still appropriate for today's woes. But the song ROCKS!!!!

  • This song so inspired me that year as a teen poet immersed in e. e. cummings, The Beatles, and Rod McKuen. The whole album is a treasure even now.

  • I miss the old music!

  • What a band men... and what a historical period. Musically and culturally the highest of human history, I think. Rock on and live free! Peace.

  • spirit is really beyond explanation. they have so many great aspects to their music. they have a soul feel, a blues feel, a little psychedelia, and a hard rock feel. randy california could have gone off on every one of their songs, and gotten more acclaim as a guitarist (he was just as good if not better than hendrix, clapton, beck).

  • @RavenofLeyla many thanks. I still.... uff
