the reason we still need to put some alcohol mixed in the water is because we need to slow down the flame front, without the alcohol we would need to reset the timing to after Top Dead Center, but the reason we can not do that is because small engines like this have what is called a "waste spark" on the exhaust stroke. this problem is very simple to overcome... please send any questions or comments to rasaviharii@hotmail.com
