Stephon Gilmore will be a junior this fall after being named first team All-SEC in 2010 by the league's coaches and Phil Steele. He has started every game at cornerback since he got to Carolina and looks to take on an even bigger leadership role for 2011. He wants to take his game to another level this season and help the team do the same. Be a part of the home team at Williams-Brice this year with season tickets. Catch up on the first two It's Great To Be A Gamecock videos: http://bit.ly/Alshon1 and http://bit.ly/Travian1
he hasn't been prepared for either of the first two games this year. Against ECU his technique was below average (which for him, who has played well above average the past years just isn't acceptable) and he has given up big plays that were key plays of the game. I'm surprised GA didn't lock in on him more but that's most likely to what he's done in past years. I hope to see him get back to peak performance over by Auburn with Navy and Vandy being more so easier competition

@pippon203 What is not to like????? He is consistently strongest defensive player, he has played every position assigned to him above expectation, he is great role model, an HONOR student, has loyal family values, has had same girlfriend since he was 10 years old, follows the SEC rules, represents the University well, chose USC over other schools recruiting him. He is humble, mature, respectful, loyal, and consistent. Again, What is not to like?... I am crazy about this guy!!!
