  • Thanks for your kind words.

Yes. I know you've sung with this choir. I was there. In fact, last year the Ariosa Singers were guests at a Gwalia Singers concert.

I'm not going to slag off the Ariosa Singers. They are a good choir. Not better though, just different.

  • What is the first song called ? I love it , it brings tears to my eyes although I don't understand Welsh.I heard the Gwalia singers twenty odd years ago while working at a Rudolph Steiner community in Rhandirmwyn Dyfed...Johnny Jones's dad was in the choir (I worked with Johnny).Michael McNamara.

  • Talking rubbish!!!! You're soooooo not better. Your out of time and out of tune most of the time. Long live Gwalia, a real choir who sings from the heart.

  • Just found this vid. It brings back memories of when I sung with the choir but I only recognise a few faces. Anyone remember the Mylestones, a barbershop quartet, formed from the choir when Bryan Myles was the musical director?

I still love teaching some Welsh hymn tunes and barbershop melodies to my Bedouin friends here in Egypt.

    Cymru am byth, Huw

  • Ah maybe but if we sung your repertoire and we sung yours it might be different! Ask Penny!

  • Ok so natural we loved it - and that's a whole Welsh Male Choir

  • Well thank you. We will be in Disneyland Paris for their Welsh Festival weekend 7th & 8th March soon!

  • lovely tone and arrangement, are there any more videos of the choir?
