Forest Maze Sheet

Another Super Mario RPG song, this music plays when you enter the forest maze. The real title is "Beware the Forest Mushrooms." One thing I noticed when transcribing this video was that some parts I was hearing went below their note range, most notably the oboe. Guess Yoko Shimomura never intended for this to be played by an actual orchestra =p

@DaSimon96 No they can't, but a contrabassoon can. It's been fixed in the revised video as well.

@samweller96 Yeah, I addressed that issue in the video description, in comment replies to other users, and even fixed it in my revised transcription... gotta remember that retro video game music was never originally intended to be played by humans, which is why that kind of stuff tends to happen. If you're looking for an actually-usable transcription, though, then go to the revised video instead, in the video responses section.

A normal music sheet is very unfortunately something too many of us who have been intrested in music do not know how to formally read. Some of us make our own scales, though we know the symbols. The good thing about music is if you have a good ear, you can play by ear. When you know where the keys are, you can play whatever's on your mind, going by the keys. Music defies all language, it truly does.
