Why Deathcore Sucks

A spiritual sequel to my anti-slipknot video, this one focuses on something that I consider equally bad. Please understand the context. Deathcore is bad because it combines Metalcore and Death Metal. Metalcore is just BAD. Death Metal, however, is really good. So I must compare Deathcore to Death Metal, and by those standards, Deathcore fails on every end. Musically, it's boring and bad, lyrically, it's mindnumbing, and there really isn't much to Deathcore at all. This video will attempt to show why Deathcore sucks, but it's kind of more vague than my Slipknot video. Still, I got my points across, and am willing to argue with anybody willing to present Deathcore's case, be they idiots or geniuses.

every sub genre of metal either lacks an element of metal or incorporates something non-metal. its just how it is. there are some very decent deathcore bands that focus on actual guitar strings rather than chugging chords. personally i think black metal sucks. to me it seems like a bunch of face-painting, leather wearing, long haired, satanic morons using more "medieval" ambiance than actual music. & there vocals are fucking stupid but because i dont like it doesnt mean it sucks. to each his own

@MeetMyArsenal If you dislike Black Metal, listen to Emperor's "The Eruption" (the song) and you'll at least see that that's NOT all that's too Black Metal. Black Metal is a much deeper genre than Deathcore, and I'm no Black Metal fan. But the thing is, Black Metal is mature, Death Metal is mature, Thrash Metal is mature. Deathcore is immature. Right now, it's hard to tell if Deathcore is a metal trend or a fad, but very soon I predict that Deathcore will drop hugely in popularity

Furthermore, I'm sick of the whole "X genre> Y genre". I enjoy bands like Parkway Drive, Suicide Silence, Cannibal Corpse, and so on. Hell, I even listen to country and Lady Gaga. Trying to belittle someone's music taste just makes you come off as a jerk. They didn't make this music to sound cool, they do it because they genuinely like this style, is it so hard to respect that?
