  • whats your power setup? i just got a cmp 1830mm cubbie

  • @MrJonnymellor

My current setup for this plane now is

    RimFire 50-55-500kv .80 motor

    Castle Creations Ice 100 ESC

    Xoar 16x8 electric prop

    Gens Ace 6s 4000 25c battery

This system produces 1760 watts of power at full throttle.

My plane is a 1/5th scale where your new plane is more like 1/6th scale so you won't need this much power. Try for 800 to 1000watts on your plane and you should have good performance.

  • @Fast1Guy Tnx for the help. I "inherited",for my 45th birthday,a 1/4 scale cub with, i believe, a saito 125 4-stroke and thought this may be a good way to work up to the big one.Hope the flight characteristics are similar. Thanks again for the help and happy flying!

  • @MrJonnymellor Happy to help. It's my dream to have an electric powered 1/3 scale J3 Cub on floats one day.

  • How would you transport one of these?

  • @bigkdog363023 The wings are removable for transportation. Two screws to remove on each wing. Takes about 5min. to remove or install. Fits in most cars with wings removed. This was the main reason I bought the Sig kit to start with. Thanks for watching.
