Rolling down the local mountain, no brakes otherwise you'll get passed, the heavier you are the more inertia you carry over the long uphill straight.... yes I get overtaken there.

  • I wonder what that guy thought who was walking up the hill just after the hairpin ;-)

  • :-) We actually know the guy, he was shocked at first then ot used to it. He's seen the video too, was speaking to him just yesterday.. funny timing of yours.

  • How fast were you going around those corners?

  • Not very fast, was more just the fun of it, I think it was even all below the speed limit.

  • This could be a new sport guys! You make the bike roll as good as possible and use the brakes as little as possible, takes skill (maybe) and all that kind of shit! It's perfect! : D

  • Thanks, gotta say the track is more fun but yep, this teaches you that brakes are often an over-used tool.

P.s. These guys are dead right, leave your engine running. cheers

  • Hey i got a bike and we got a pretty big hill here we call snake hill and i do nott know how to drive down it

im fine with driving up it but when i going home i take the long way around instead going down

  • A mate of mine who runs up there has seen you too. He says it is freaky with just the sound of the tyres as you slip stream past .... :-)

  • thats what i call fuel efficiency XD nice downhill roll ;-)

  • cool...that looks like fun =)

  • Nice, I found coasting to be one of the best ways to help you learn to hold your speed in the turns.

    Thanks!

  • Where is this road?

  • Ah, that's nothing. Did the same thing on a bicycle, going fast enough to slide some thirty or forty feet at the bottom of the hill, sideways across a two-lane intersecting road, and into pub parking lot on the other side - blowing out a rear tire and bending a rim in the process.

And momentum from the steep incline, directed downwards on the suddenly level road (pushing tires into pavement), was all that stopped me so quicky.

Stop at bottom scared hell out me. Never again.

  • i told you i would watch it :)
