I hope that one day Muslims will revert to Islam and become Muslims. I hope that one day, they will accept Islam as their religion.

Islam supports fair trade. Sellers cannot abuse the buyers and buyers cannot abuse the sellers. Neither party can exploit the other or else the contract is invalid.

For example, Islam forbid sky rocketing food prices in a time of disaster. The seller could only be allowed to raise the price if he or she buys it for a higher price. If the seller has a harder time obtaining the goods then they can raise the price but the price still has to be fair and reasonable.

Another example, is that the buyer cannot exploit the seller. If I know that someone is desperate for money, I can't go and demand an extremely low price for his property. I can give him the money. I can loan him the money. Or, I can buy the product that he is selling at a reasonable price.

There are a lot of rules regarding fair trade in Islam. It would be beneficial to study this issue in depth since it is a large part of life.

The basic premise is that a buyer and seller are engaging in a contract. A contract is not valid unless each party is completely aware of all the details of that contract. Otherwise the contract is null and void. If there is a flaw in a product or service then an Islamic court can nullify the agreement. The buyer would then return the product and the sell would return the money. It is more complicated then this but in simple terms that is how it works.

Yah, Corporation and sales staff love to cover up flaws and paint a pretty picture. Whenever I sell something, I always tell the flaws and I feel good about myself.

  • God this is such a great video, you are very intelligent...

Don't ever try that at home. That is one way to get hepititus and oral herpes. By the way, I bought the apple from the store.

  • Islam is introduced to indonesia in about 700-800 AD by arabic muslim traders.

so that's why Indonesia became moslim :) Fair Trade !!

  • I don't think this really happen...people are not like this they only think in profit...but i lke that way o thinking.

  • subhanallah

  • i heard that in the old days of Muslim countries some shops would close early once they sold a specific amount of items, so that neighboring shops could also make profit.

Unlike today, where it seems to be mostly competitive between shops. survival of the fittest attitude.
