Hi. My name is Gizmo and I have this breathing problem, but I don't know what is causing this to me. I've been to two different vets and have had xrays. The vet says i have Chronic Bronchitis. I'm currently on Steroids for the past 2 months, I've taken cough medicine, and some other antihistimine, but I continue to breathe this way once in a while. I've gotten better. In the video is the only time I've breathed like this for that long, usually the breathing lasts for a few seconds, but lately, only a second or two. My mom and dad think it's my carrier, so they've gotten a couple other carriers, but I tend to sneeze when I go in. The vet recommended getting an air purifier, so we're trying that now. If you have any suggestions of what can make me stop doing this, please let me know. Thank you. -Gizmo the Girl.

according to my doctor, my lungs aren't cloudy anymore, but i still breathe like this every now and then. I'm off the medication, but my doctor says I may have to be on Antihistimine for life =(

I'm starting to breathe like this more frequent, but duration lasts for a second, so seems like i may be allergic to something...we have a Roomba, which runs twice a week (Mon/Fri) and my daddy vacuums with a Dyson animal (purple ball) once in a while. I tried asking him to vacuum once a week, but he doesn't seem to understand when i bark at him. I wonder if there's a allergist for dogs. My mom and day may take me to an acupuncturist (i think they're crazy), but if they're desperate enough to buy an air purifier for me, they'll try poking me with needles.

so right now, our Gizmo is on allergy shots. I'm pretty sure it's helping because she's been on shots for about 3 weeks and she's done the breathing thing briefly once (compared to almost every day). I believe it's allergy related, we took her to a dog skin allergist and she's allergic to some types of dust, and some pollen. I hope the shots get rid of the allergies for good. Good luck! thanks!

seems to turn out to be allergies. We're going to put Gizmo on allergy shots in a couple of days.
Thanks.
