Parkview High School in Springfield, MO has a Sword Dance tradition for Viking Day (Homecoming). In this case, a young lady will dance around a pair of crossed swords. If she manages to dance without touching the swords, Parkview would win the Homecoming football game. If she does touch, they would lose. This year, it was I who danced around the swords. I did touch the swords. We'll see if we win the game! Music: Big Jigs by Tartanic (from the album Unmistakable)

What I wish I had a video of the speech I made to the school after I bawled with embarrassment. It went something like this: Hello, Parkview! You have no idea how hard that dance is! (haha) I did it to show my Viking spirit! (cheers) And you know, I messed up... but it's ok! (almost cheers) because last year, Parkview beat Hillcrest on 9/27 and we will beat them again tomorrow at Homecoming! (cheers) Thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to show my Viking spirit and thanks for all the support! (cheers)

Too bad we lost the game... lol But I refuse to take blame!
