Hi Valentina - you gotta be happy about The Strokes so. Are you into Julian? Is he still married? I'm going out tonight, with a friend. My daughter is away for a few days... lol. Are you allowed to go out? To concerts? I always went with my daughter, when she was younger. But I had to stay away (funny), which I did. Just checked on her from far away, every now and then. Now she doesn't mind me close. Do you babysit your little sis? xoJay

Yeah, I will. I completelly understand. But yeah this has happened to me numerous times before - the conversations dying out at a point. Yeah, I guess Maps would be their best. Each song has it's time. Their first song I ever loved and knew was Kiss Kiss. The Strokes it would probably be Hard to Explain or Red Light. Yeah, I've heard that in February they've regrouped and we'll hear something new at the end of the year.

Ask them. Ease your mind. I understand that you find it interesting to "talk" to others. I do too. At first, as you remember, I didn't realise that you are so young. But I think you are nice and don't mind keeping in touch. It will die down sooner or later anyway. Usually ppl are like that. If anything I will try to help you - but I understand that you and your parents could be worried. What is your fave YYY tune? Maps? Strokes: Heart in a Cage? Are they doing something new?

No, they don't really know. But I've been told not to give out too much personal information. I'm pretty sure that my age, my first name and my country is fine to give out. I don't mind, it's actually nice talking to others that are out of your atmosphere at times. That's when you realise that the world is full of different people. It's nice knowing what people actually think ; all their different opinions. Not too personal, but just probably like what we've been talking about.

Wow, wrote to you yesterday and discarded the text instead of posting it. I meant the songs aren't the original recordings. Today a friend asked me, wether or not your parents know that we write to each other. Do they? If you want to stop, let me know. It was nice "talking" to you though. And yes, take your time - be on the safe side. xo

"Unfortunately the music wasn't real."
Sorry, I do not comprehend the previous.

Yes, thank you for concerns. I do know that before even watching the movie I didn't think it would be that bad (for my age). But since I've started it, I wanted to continue it. There is this other heroin-based movie I've been wanting to watch. But I've put a lot of thought into it and decided to wait atleast a year or 2. The S&N movie helped me realize that I might have to wait a bit longer. Yeah, because unfortunately we don't get any younger and I know later I'd regret dreading this.

I meant an older sister. And I don't have anything against us females.

Oh, I too speak and know french. When I was about 6, I learned some german at a camp. Yeah, my mom knew italian for some while. I'd like to visit Italy. I miss my family and friends back in Russia, I do miss the metros (subways) and other places. I'm not really sure why but I'm the older sibling and for a long time I was a single child and now I really want a sibling that would take care of me. A sister seems a little too dramatic so yeah.

Alright, made it through the movie. Valentina, at only 13 you shouldn't be watching this. It's too explicit, it hurts you. And I don't think that you are dumb or childish. But 13 is really young. You should be seeing/hearing things that strengthen you, give you confidence and a positive outlook. Okay, I'm a mom. I mean it though. Don't try to skip anything. You have the right to be a young girl. For me it was memories... The clothes we wore... Unfortunately the music wasn't real. xo
