On this week's 'Second Cup Café', David Garrett is a huge star in Europe, and is now tackling a new audience here in the states. He performs his version of Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal'.

@tomfromwinchell the point was to put emphasis on the violin so the guitar got pushed back. Yes the mixing sux but the overall sound was ok.

ehhh... i know it was way in the background... but i've never heard a les paul sound worse. horrible, horrible tone there. i DID however like the violin. (which is really what the video is about)

He is really good, I guess.
The idea is to play rock on violin really well!
I like David Garrett and I had already bought his CD!
But I like the classic songs not so much.
This is a shame!
I think he should enact more rock!
* I am from Germany so I can not speak English so well. ;]
