From what I can tell, pretty much ALL American politicians are guilty of being liberal. The difference is what kind; Republicans/"conservatives" (quoted because many are actually reactionary) are classical liberals because they believe in freedom from harm (protecting us from big government), Democrats are social liberals because they want freedom to develop.
In any case, we all want freedom. Unless the idea degrades in a couple generations. Which it might at this rate.
