Ever since I've seen Slumdog Millionaire, I've LOVED this song. I wanted to make a light and cute crossover, without a depressing ending, and I thought Peter and Melody would fit the ticket. I didn't originally plan to have so much Ariel in it, but that's just how it worked out. Plus I thought the whole mother daughter boy love triangle minus the pedophilia was kinda cuteXD.
Well anyhoo, onward to the storyline.
STORYLINE:
One day, Melody is out swimming, when she meets Peter. Yes, he still is the boy who never grows up, but this story doesn't take place in Neverland. After talking for a bit, they instantly bond, but Melody has to run off for her birthday party.
At the party she meets a guy who wants to dance with her, but she can only remember first seeing Peter. After the party, she's standing on her balcony when he appears, and teaches her how to fly. When Ariel comes in, and sees them together. Ariel is shocked, because when she was younger, she also used to know Peter. But he decided to leave her, on account of the fact that she was getting older.
Not wanting her daughter to get hurt like she did, and feeling a tiny bit jealous(Yes that is my voice XD), Ariel forbids Melody from seeing Peter. While Melody does try to argue at first, she eventually gives in, not wanting to disobey her Mother even though she thinks she's wrong.
After trying for a bit to let him go, Melody realizes she can't and goes to see him again. Peter knows all about the fight, and just wants Melody to be alright. Ariel appears suddenly, and wanting her daughter's happiness allows her to see Peter(Sounds like my Tulio and Melody crossover, right?). In the end, Peter takes Melody back to Neverland with him.
Ignore the random extra minute of blankness at the end, I could NOT figure out how to get rid of it.
