  • "I'll let you know when it's the year of the elephant!"

    A dig at Republicans, perhaps?

  • 1974 is the "Year of Tiger" because 1986 is too (12 years). 24 years ago, 12 years ago, this year (2010), 12 years in the future and 24 years too.

And the "Year of the Elephant" is around "570 AD" or 1440 years ago.

Another interesting fact is that 24 hours = 1440 minutes.

  • 2010 will be another yr of the Tiger (and I don't mean Woods)--1962, yr of my birth, was, too

  • I'd love to see a non-drugs ad where Tony says no to steroids and the goes all roid rage on a bunch of potheads

  • today's tony is scarier than dependable

always pushing the team forwards and screaming just like a coach

  • rofl

  • This ad campaign was loosely tied to the traditional Chinese calendar, where twelve Zodiac animals are honored once every twelve years. 1974 happened to be the "Year Of the Tiger", with Tony reminding people that 'Sugar Frosted Flakes' were a perfect way to celebrate "his" year (there is no "Year Of the Elephant", incidentally!). Tony celebrated another "Year Of the Tiger" in '86...

  • When did they bet the big Tony?

  • when did this first come out? 1800's?

  • Rayno mira estoo!!

    xD jajaja
