ya your buddies yota should be alright. might need a bit of a tug at some spots but nothing to serious. Your tj should cruise through that no problem with the lockers. You could do it in 2 days but me and my friends always go for 3 nights/4 days. It's nice to spend a whole day up at wells lake. Funnest offroading trip we've ever been on.

just wondering if a toyota 4 runner with 31 ATs can make it up there ... with stock drive train and suspension without to much trouble... i have a tj and want my buddy to come with me.. i got lockers and 35s so i am not to worried.. plus how long is the trip? can u do it in a weekend... or a 3 or 4 day... plus is it even worth it... thanks..

Ya the runner on 31s will probably need a few tugs.
The trip can be done in a long day but you'll miss a lot of the scenery, best done in a weekend and take your time and enjoy.
Most definitely worth the trip, I've done it more times than I care to count, sometimes 3 times a year, oh wait I was at Loadstone lake just 14 hours ago! . . . LOL!
....... On Ski-Doos of course!
