When you advance you will eventually buy a dslr so 20MP in a beginner camera is pointless.

i think you cant go wrong with this cam.

if samsung throws its entire weight behind it, im sure the lenses available will increase fast.

@yfm88 Just needs better low-light focusing abilities, improved battery and better buffer/processing times... Then it'd be bang on. Assuming, of course, that the physical size isn't a deterrent - one of the inherent ideas about Compact System Cameras.

I prefer the Sony NEX5N over this one for various reasons.

NX system has a rather wide range of lenses (9 lenses): 3 pancakes, 2 fixes 60mm macro and 85mm portrait, and 4 zooms. Next year Samsung promise to present more prime lenses!

Does anyone know how this stacks up against the Lumix GX1? I like the idea of the APS sensor over the micro 4/3 but the range of lens doesn't seem to be as good.

@javyuma are you stupid or something?...how would a 20MP compact camera be pointless. This is a good carry around camera when you can't bring your dslr.
