  • Wonderful great sound. Just wondering are you resting the heel of your right hand lightly on the bridge or holding it just above? I guess you are doing that to get a full side of the pick on the strings -- anyway great job!

  • @Mandolin1944 I usually rest the heel of my hand lightly on the bridge or on the face of the banjo near the bridge, although I doubt this is considered "proper" hand placement. And thanks!

  • She is playing a Paramount Leader, refurbished. It has a great sound.

  • I forgot to add: The reel that I'm playing is called the Silver Spire. Thanks!

  • Great tune, great version, great playing!

  • Love that tune, really nicely played!

  • Maynard its the silver spire

  • Awesome picking, tight triplets and good timing..it all flows together nicely. Keep it up.

  • I took up tenor banjo, myself, about this time last year. The pick I've been using thus far is no longer satisfactory -- mind if I ask what kind you're using?

  • what song is that?!

  • Well done that silver spire is a smashing tune. You cant beat a paramount either

  • We're at a picnic for crying out loud, lighten up!
