It tells the story of Tom Wingo (Nick Nolte), a disillusioned football coach who must reveal his troubled past to a psychiatrist Susan Lowenstein (Barbra Streisand) to try to save the life of Savannah, his suicidal sister. The secret that influence the torment of her sister and of all of his family was a rape that he, Savannah and her mother have endured years ago. That time, Tom and Savannah had 13 years
(In the movie, they are twins).
Beautiful and unforgettable film !!!!!!!

Such an incredible music. Who was it by? John Barry? I don't think this one is original score by Newton Howard. But this music goes so well with the scenes from the film you chose. Lovely.

Thanks for the kind compliments! You're right - music is called "Give Me A Smile" by John Barry. A non-film piece, but everything he writes is to cinematic.
