Hindus who where converted to Christianity by offering them benefits by Christian missionaries, reconverted back to their native religion. There Hindus were lured into joining Christianity.

Due to Decline of Christianity in west, every year billions of dollars are pumped into India to convert people. in the last 40-50 years, 4 out of 7 north states are now fully converted (90%+) which has created a cultural and religions clash which lead to insurgency activities. The Christian terrorist organizations based in India are demanding 'independence' of these Christian majority states for creation Christian republics.
